Shampoo hair with a good sulfate free shampo. Rinse thoroughly. Squeeze out as much water as possible. Apply a quarters worth to your hair, more for longer hair. Distribute evenly, applying more to areas of special concern. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Rinse thorougnly. Reapply as needed.
