The Feather Styling Razor is the most innovative hairstyling razor in the world today! Having won Launchpad’s Readers Choice Award for 5 straight years, FEATHER® razors have become the razor of choice for over half a million stylists. This razor has a beautiful black finish.

The cutting performance of the blades surpasses any other replacement blade razor on the market today. The ergonomic design of a rigid handle does not require constant pressure on the wrist in holding open like conventional razors. The balance and feel in the hand makes the razor become an extension of your hand. The blades are completely safe to you and your client. Blades are easily removed with the patented Blade Disposal Case and replaced with the Blade Dispenser.
Will these Feather blades work on other similar razor handles?
Jatai can only guarantee that the blades will work on Jatai handles. There may be other imitation blades out there but Feather® is the original styling razor blade designed to cut hair without pull. Feather Styling Razor blades have a special resin to help glide the blade through the hair.

How long will the Feather Styling Razor blades last?
Typically speaking, the blades will last anywhere from 1-5 haircuts depending on the type of hair you cut with.  For thicker and coarser hair, you may need to change it for frequently. For thinner hair, you probably can make it last a long time. You can make your blades last longer when you use “Blade Glide”, our razor shaving lotion that moisturizes the hair while making razor cutting much easier.

How is the "Standard" blade different from the "Texturizing" blade?
The standard and texturizing blades are different by the “blade guard”. The “texturizing” blade guard has two extra notches so it cuts half the hair. While both blades can be used for texturizing and feathering, the “texturizing” is designed to cut less hair by half thus giving you a more textured feel. Both blades are of the same quality and equally sharp.

Can you clean the neckline?

Yes, you can clean the neckline with it. It isn't as good as a true straight razor but it can clean the neckline reasonably well.

How can I get more cuts out of each Feather Styling Razor blade?
After the blade starts to pull and fill dull pull the blade out completely and turn it around. Reinsert the blade into the handle. Normally the blade the first half of the blade dulls. By turning the blade completely around you can use the portion of the blade that is still sharp.
