Preparation
Before you use Colour Reset, it is strongly recommended that you start with clean, dry hair to achieve the best possible results. It is recommended that you wash hair twice with a clarifying treatment shampoo to remove product residue and silicone build-up from the cuticle. This will help t prevent 'patchy color', root glow and color build-up.

Carry out a skin sensitivity test 24 hours before application
Colour Reset should be applied to dry hair unless you desire an incredibly light/subtle tonal removal.
Cover the client with a color-proof gown and yourself with an apron.
Make sure you cover nearby surfaces (which could stain)
Never use metal combs or bowls to apply Colour Reset. Ensure all products used are plastic.
Always wear the gloves provided during application.

Step 1: Mixing & Application
Measure and pour 50ml of Activator and 50ml Remover into a plastic tint bowl and mix thoroughly using a plastic whisk, spoon or spatula.
Because Colour Reset does not lighten or remove natural pigment from the hair you can apply freely without separating from colored hair.
Apply Colour Reset with a tint bowl and brush or sponge. Begin applying onto the areas of the hair which need hair color correction. Use a large toothed plastic tangle comb to separate sections and ensure even distribution.
Very long and thick hair may require more product.

Step 2: Development & Rinsing
Once evenly applied, process for up to 60 minutes, depending on the type, history and depth of color. You must ensure the room is not cold and there are no drafts. If you have long or thick hair a good tip is to cover in cling film. This will trap the heat and accelerate removal.
There is no need to check continually because Colour Reset will not lighten or damage the hair.
Once the processing time has elapsed, the hair will now be ready for the rinsing stage.
Rinse for at least 5 minutes and up to 10 minutes for longer hair. It is important to keep directing the water into the hair and running your fingers through it.

Step 3: Buffer & Rinsing
After you have rinsed the hair, apply 25ml of Buffer. Lather up well and leave for 1 minute to absorb.
After the minute continue rinsing the hair with warm water for at least another 5 minutes.
After rinsing and buffering thoroughly apply a further 25ml of Bugger. Lather and rinse thoroughly just as you would a regular shampoo. After all traces of the buffer have been successfully rinsed from the hair you many conclude and towel dry.
Ensure the hair is 100% dry before making a judgement on the result (wet hair tends to look darker than dry).
