This product is intentionally very hard. Emulsifying with your fingers and adding a touch of moisture loosens it up. It's made to keep in your hair long, so a day later you can add a touch of moisture to your hair and re-style and look fresh again. So this is a good pomade for when you're on the go and can't shower.

Put a dime-sized amount into the palm of hand or fingers and rub together to warm and emulsify the pomade. Apply product to dry or wet hair (wet hair for a wet-look finish). Use more product for increased hold and style.
